The funds were generated from Flythe’s Bike Shop’s Jurassic Classic Bike Ride, which was a component of the annual North Carolina Fossil Festival. The Aurora Fossil Museum thanks Flythe’s Bike Shop for their continued support of the museum and their annual involvement in the NC Fossil Festival.

AFM Executive Director, Cynthia Crane, a paleontol AFM Executive Director, Cynthia Crane, a paleontologist, was invited to be a panelist for a post-screening question and answer session during a public viewing of the new Walking with Dinosaurs Series at PBS-NC. Cynthia was joined by Eric Lund, paleontologist at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, and Dr. Robert Anemone, paleoanthropologist at UNC Greensboro.
